University of Pennsylvania — Academic Clinician Position, Renal Division

The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Applicants should be board certified in Nephrology.

The successful applicant will have significant experience in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings as a renal consultant. We are particularly interested in individuals with clinical expertise and academic interest in critical care nephrology, use of point-of-care ultrasound in nephrology, and/or acute in-patient dialysis. She/he will have inpatient and outpatient general nephrology and dialysis clinical responsibilities, should be an outstanding educator who will excel at teaching Penn students, residents and fellows, and will have the opportunity to participate in clinical research if desired.
