The Next Dean of the College of Applied Behavioral Sciences at the University of Indianapolis

Torrey Wilson will be the next dean of the College of Applied Behavioral Sciences at the University of Indianapolis. He will assume his new duties on August 1.

“I am incredibly grateful and excited about joining the University of Indianapolis College of Applied Behavioral Sciences,” stated Dr. Wilson. “As dean, I will lead CABS into the future of applied psychology and work collaboratively with the Health Pavilion’s allied health programs. I look forward to leading the College and University to become the benchmark for integrative healthcare and addressing the behavioral health needs of an increasingly diverse and challenging society.”

Dr. Wilson has been serving as associate professor of clinical psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology of Argosy University. Earlier in his career, Dr. Wilson was department chair for clinical psychology at Adler University in Chicago.

A native of New Orleans, Dr. Wilson is a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana, where he earned a  bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling. He holds a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Loyola University in Chicago.
