University of Pennsylvania — Assistant Professor (Academic Clinician), Division of Cardiovascular Medicine

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Applicants must be board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases, and eligible/certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation is required.

The successful candidate will play an active role as a heart failure specialist and non-invasive cardiologist centered at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP). He or she will develop an academic practice in advanced heart failure medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will provide clinical sessions in heart failure and non-invasive cardiology while attending on the inpatient combined CCU/consult rotation. The selected candidate will also be expected to play an active role in the training of medical students and residents.
