Position Description:
The Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor in the Academic Clinician track.

This full-time position at the Assistant Professor level in the Academic Clinician track (non-tenure accruing) calls for a person who, through excellence in administration, teaching, and clinical practice in periodontics, is able to build and maintain the department’s reputation nationally and internationally through leadership and direction of department activities. These activities include teaching in predoctoral/postdoctoral education programs, administration and management in the department, as well as service to the community. Eligible candidates must have completed a CODA-accredited advanced education program in Periodontics with Board Certification, have a DDS or DMD degree and eligible to obtain a Pennsylvania dental license prior to beginning of their employment. The candidate should have teaching and administrative experience and a record of research activities.
