Lecturer or Clinical Assistant Professor / Clinical Professor in Finance

The Department of Finance in the Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking to fill a lecturer or clinical assistant professor/clinical professor position in finance. The position is full-time and non-tenure-track. The principal role of this position is to
teach classes in finance at the undergraduate level and if suitably qualified, at the master’s level. In addition to high quality teaching and the ability to interact with students professionally and respectfully, the candidate will be expected to engage in research and/or professional activities to the extent required to meet the College’s Faculty Qualification Standards and to engage in appropriate service activities in the Department and College. We are seeking candidates that have an ability and interest in maintaining appropriate professional qualifications, demonstrated excellence in communication, and an ability to and willingness to maintain active relationships with appropriate business partners. Candidates for the lecturer position must hold a masters degree with a major in finance or a M.B.A degree with a major in finance. Candidates for the clinical assistant professor or professor position must hold either a Ph.D. in finance or a
related field or a DBA with a major in finance. Appointment as a clinical professor or clinical professor depends on qualifications and experience.
