Bates College — Visiting Assistant Professor of Africana

The Africana Program at Bates College seeks to hire a visiting assistant professor in one of the humanistic social sciences with a research focus on issues of race and citizenship centered in the long 20th Century. This two year position is scheduled to begin August 2019.

Our review of applications begins April 5th and continues until the position is filled.

Preference will be given to candidates who have completed, by August 1st 2019, their Ph.D. degree in a relevant field.
