Job Description:
Under limited direction, directs and coordinates the business services functions and procedures, serves as the chief accountant of the University and ensures compliance with all applicable college, state and federal regulations and policies. Work includes accounting systems, investments and banking, fixed assets, retirement debt and legal compliance.

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in accounting or a related area and five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in the business/accounting office functional area at a college or university; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in accounting or a related area and ten (10) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in the business/accounting office functional area at a college or university, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

Must be able to travel for meetings, conferences, and training.
Must be self-motivated.
Must have the ability to be composed as all time.
Extended work hours (nights and weekends).
High stress environment.
High pressure to meet deadlines.

Must have to ability to sit for an extended period of time:
Must be able to use a computer and common business software.
