University of Pittsburgh — Open Rank Tenure Stream Position in Accounting (Archival Researcher)

The Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh seeks applications for a tenure track open rank position in Accounting starting Fall 2019 or sooner.  The position is contingent on budgetary approval and upon authorization to work in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications for all Candidates:

  • PhD (or equivalent international degree) in Accounting or a related field
  • A demonstrated track record of, or potential for, publishing archival research in top academic journals.

Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of three years of experience at the Assistant Professor level or higher and a research record of publishing in top accounting journals in the areas of financial accounting, auditing or managerial accounting. Likewise, we prefer candidates with a strong research pipeline, a commitment to serving on or co-chairing accounting doctoral student dissertation committees, and evidence of high quality teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
