University of Pennsylvania — Professor (AC Track), Child and Adolescent Psychiatry / Consultation Liaison Psychiatry

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for a Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will be accomplished in the area of child and adolescent psychiatry. Expertise in the specific area of consultation and liaison psychiatry and children with chronic illnesses is required. Responsibilities include developing programs and providing oversight for behavioral health services provided on the main campus of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, including specialty care services; providing psychiatric services to patients with complex medical conditions; and providing training to medical students, psychiatric residents, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Board certification in Pediatrics, General Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is required.
