University of Pennsylvania — Infectious Diseases Clinician, Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship, VA Medical Center

The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Infectious Diseases.

The successful candidate will be based primarily at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center where he/she will serve as the Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship and serve as an Attending on the inpatient ID consult service. The selected candidate will also serve as an Attending on the inpatient general ID consult service and in the outpatient ID practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will also be expected to play an active role in the education of fellows, residents and medical students.

The candidate will report to Dr. Ebbing Lautenbach, Chief of Infectious Diseases, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.
