University of Pennsylvania — Assistant Professor (Academic Clinician Track), Pediatric Psychology – Cellular Therapy and Transplantation Section (CHOP)

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of pediatric psychology with a focus on the delivery of evidence-based assessment and intervention services in the Cellular Therapy and Transplant Service of the Cancer Center. Responsibilities include providing psychological evaluations and interventions for patients being treated in CHOP’s Cancer Center and the Cancer Center’s Cellular Therapy and Transplantation Section; collaborating with multi-disciplinary treatment team members on case conceptualization, treatment planning, and clinical research studies; and providing program development within CHOP’s Cancer Center. Responsibilities also include participating in quality improvement initiatives and on the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences’ and CHOP’s Psychosocial Services committees, and developing curricula and providing training to psychology and medical student trainees through supervision and didactic lectures. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Pennsylvania license in psychology is required.
