University of Pennsylvania — Associate and / or Full Professor of Pediatrics (CE Track)

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Neonatology and Newborn Services in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an MD or MD/PhD degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care, education and research. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. 

Clinical duties focus on providing outstanding clinical care and excellence in teaching. Clinical care will be provided in the 100 bed Level IV NICU at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the 40 bed Level III NICU at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania along with participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows. Research activities may include clinical or basic studies and will be dependent on the candidate’s interests and independent support. Evidence of scholarship is required for the Clinician-Educator track.
