Union College — Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, Electrical or Computer Engineering

The Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, beginning Fall 2019. A Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related field is required. Candidates expecting to complete their doctoral thesis before September of 2019 are also welcome to apply. Excellent candidates in all areas will be considered, but preference will be given to candidates with expertise in control systems areas such as robotics and autonomous systems.

The successful candidate will have a deep commitment to undergraduate education, will establish and maintain a high quality research program that involves undergraduate students, and will ideally be able to make significant interdisciplinary connections with other departments and programs.
