University of Arkansas — Finance Officer, Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food & Life Sciences

The Bumpers College at the University of Arkansas is accepting applications for a Finance Officer. The role and responsibility of the College Finance Officer are to provide oversight for all campus-based financial resources available to the Bumpers College.  These include the campus base-budget allocation, student enhancement funds, income/expense accounts, and development funds.  The College Finance Officer reports to the Dean of the Bumpers College and will be responsive to requests from the Vice Provost for Planning and the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Required Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant discipline from an accredited institution of higher education; At least three years of relevant professional experience, including one year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.  Working knowledge of Excel and good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications for this position include a Master’s degree or CPA; at least two years of experience with the University of Arkansas systems:  BASIS and/or Workday.
