Job Information
The Department of Global & Sociocultural Studies at Florida International University invites applications for an Instructor position in Anthropology beginning August 2019. Candidates should have demonstrated teaching experience and be prepared to offer a broad range of anthropology undergraduate courses. A Ph.D. in anthropology or related discipline by the time of appointment is required. We seek candidates with a record of commitment to teaching excellence and a passion for classroom instruction. The ideal candidate will be able to teach courses Asian Studies and Africa and African Diaspora Studies programs as well as contribute to the multidisciplinary curriculum of the department.

Global & Sociocultural Studies is a dynamic, multidisciplinary, doctoral-granting department in a large, urban, public research university. We have a diverse faculty comprised of both tenure-track research faculty and teaching faculty appointed as instructors.
