California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California, invites applications for a tenure-
track Assistant Professor faculty position in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences to begin Fall 2019. The Department offers undergraduate majors in Geology and Environmental Sciences and the successful candidate will be a versatile instructor, capable of teaching a range of lower and upper division courses. Of special interest are candidates able to develop and teach courses that are impactful to students in both majors. The successful candidate will maintain a productive field- or laboratory-based research program that adds external visibility to the University and the Department and engages undergraduate students in research. In addition to teaching and research, duties will include advising students and performing service for the University. Candidates must possess a Ph. D. degree in Geology or Environmental Science or related field.
