University of Pennsylvania — Assistant Professor, Department of Ophthalmology

The Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Ophthalmology. Responsibilities include establishment of basic, clinical, and/or translational research with potential for K12 funding; teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. It is anticipated that this individual will devote approximately 75% of their effort to research. Clinical and educational responsibilities up to 25% are available for qualified and interested candidates. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care.

Candidates must have completed 3 years of ophthalmology residency and at least 1 year of fellowship in an ophthalmic subspecialty.
