Miami University — HR Wellness Coordinator

Job Summary:  Job ID: 6388 – F/T – Unclassified (salary)

Assists in the planning, development, facilitation, coordination and communication of wellness programs and/or resources that create awareness and improve the health and well-being of Miami faculty, staff and their family members. Meet with departments to increase visibility of and participate in wellness programs. Provide assistance with the development, implementation and evaluation of university-wide wellness initiatives. This includes conducting research and writing management proposals.

Provides support in the benefits & wellness unit of the Department of Human Resources.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in health promotion, wellness, public health, kinesiology, nutrition, dietetics, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations. Experience with Microsoft Office products, and at a minimum intermediate Excel skills.
