The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia — Assistant or Associate Professor (Academic Clinician Track), Division of Laboratory Medicine

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of laboratory medicine, serving as Director of Phlebotomy as well as the Assistant Director of Clinical Chemistry at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Responsibilities include interactions with clinical colleagues and teaching of clinical pathology residents, fellows and medical students. American Board of Pathology certification or eligibility in clinical pathology is also required. Administrative experience is strongly preferred, as is some knowledge of lab information systems and informatics. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
