Wayne State University — Assistant Vice President, Institutional Research

The Office of Institutional Research and Analysis is searching for an Assistant Vice President to provide strategic leadership and overall management. The Assistant Vice President leads data governance and enterprise information management efforts and promotes the continuous development of institutional analytics capability and maturity as well as a culture of evidence and data-supported decision-making at all levels of the university. This position reports to Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness.

This leadership opportunity requires at least a Master’s degree in policy, economics, business, education, sociology, statistics, computer science or related field, with eight (8) years or more of progressive leadership and management experience in research design; data collection and retrieval; statistical analysis and reporting; and talent management. Related experience in higher education, particularly in institutional research and IPEDS is preferred.
