University of Pennsylvania — Assistant Professor (Clinician Educator Track), Implementation Science in Substance Abuse Treatment

The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of implementation science with a focus on substance abuse treatment. Responsibilities include partnering with community agencies and insurers to develop externally-funded research on the best ways to increase the use of evidence-based practice in the treatment of addiction; collaborating with researchers at Penn who are conducting implementation science research; and partnering with addictions researchers at Penn to develop an implementation science research agenda. Responsibilities also include providing evidence-based cognitive therapy to adults with substance use disorders. Candidate will train psychiatry residents and psychology interns to do the same. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research and clinical care. Candidate must be a PA licensed or license-eligible clinician.
