University of Arkansas — Coordinator of Undergraduate Student Recruitment, Bumpers College

The Bumpers College at the University of Arkansas is accepting applications for a Coordinator of Undergraduate Student Recruitment.  The Coordinator will be the initial contact for students interested in pursuing an undergraduate major in the Bumpers College and will be responsible for educating prospective students and families about opportunities available at the University of Arkansas, specifically within the Bumpers College.

The Coordinator will develop and manage a pool of prospective students for the Bumpers College and plan and implement effective recruitment strategies utilizing market research and ongoing trend analysis to set goals and monitor progress.

The Coordinator will develop initiatives to promote and encourage diversity that reflects the state college-bound population and enriches the educational experience for all UA students; plan and/or represent the university and the college at recruitment events both on and off campus; design and coordinate recruitment events on behalf of Bumpers College; act as liaison to the Office of Admissions; and assume other related areas of responsibility as assigned or required by Admissions and the Bumpers College.

Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Required Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education; at least one year experience in enrollment services, academic advising, or recruiting.

Preferred Qualifications for this position include a Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education; at least two years of experience in enrollment services, academic advising, or recruiting; at least one year of experience as an admissions counselor, student ambassador, or orientation leader or one year of experience facilitating diversity-oriented college readiness outreach.
