The Director of Assessment provides structural processes and systems for the management of the university's accreditation processes and assessment of student learning.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of university-wide assessment and evaluation processes, including assessment support for strategic planning processes
• Directs Faculty Assessment Fellows
• Manages assessment of student learning review process for academic programs
• Produces evaluation reports on assessment progress for Senior Leadership, including a semester summary report.
• Reviews assessment in proposals for new programs and discipline-based self-studies
• Maintains a central repository of assessment evidence at the institutional level, as well as documentation of the use of the results
• Serves on various university and campus-based committees

Qualifications: Master's degree with experience in assessment and program evaluation, Doctoral degree preferred; knowledge of assessment processes, student learning outcomes, and accountability issues; advanced knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research design and measurement techniques; demonstrated experience in designing, administering, and analyzing assessment instruments (e.g., rubrics, test blueprints, and alumni surveys); excellent analytical, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required and experience with data management (data gathering or storage) or assessment software is a plus.

Special Information: Travel to various campuses is required.
