California Lutheran University invites applicants for a tenure track, Assistant Professor of Finance beginning in the fall of 2019. The successful candidate will be dedicated to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse population of students, and must sustain an active, externally visible research agenda. A Ph.D. (or ABD considered) in Finance or Financial Services is required. Teaching duties include both undergraduate and graduate programs. Additional responsibilities will include curriculum review/development, advising and mentoring students, participating in university committees, and other duties deemed appropriate by the Dean and the Associate Deans. Teaching experience with a variety of finance courses and/or financial planning courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels is preferred. Professional certifications, such as CFA and CFP, and related industry experience are highly desired. Online teaching experience is plus.
