Job Description: The Division of Natural Sciences and Engineering is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track, nine-month Instructor of Biology. Candidates should be able to teach introductory biology lectures and labs, with preference given to candidates whose expertise will complement our existing courses. Additional duties will include laboratory preparation, purchasing, advising undergraduate students, serving on University committees, and actively supporting unit initiatives. Candidates should have a strong record of teaching and be available to start on 8/16/18.

Required Qualifications: Masters degree with at least 18 graduate hours in biology or a closely related field by the time of the appointment.

Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in introductory biology courses, comfort with preparation of laboratory reagents and solutions, and familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and agencies.
