The University of Findlay — Full-time Tenure-Track Position and Chair of Licensure and Endorsement Programs in College of Education

The University of Findlay invites applications for a for a full-time faculty position in the College of Education. Candidate must be willing to serve as the Chair of Licensure and Endorsement programs. Candidates will be expected to teach in both teacher licensure and post-baccalaureate courses. A doctorate is required and at least three years previous teaching experience in grades K-12 is required. CAEP accreditation experience, SPA and ODHE program writing experience and skills to incorporate technology in teaching are desirable. Experience working with the edTPA is also preferred. The successful candidate will have a proven record of excellence in teaching or demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching licensure courses. Candidates must be committed to student-centered education as well as professional development, service, and scholarship.

The College of Education serves nearly 700 students and prepares caring, reflective and highly qualified professionals. The college offers programs leading to undergraduate and post-baccalaureate licensure in Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, Intervention Specialist, AYA and Multi-Age areas as well as several endorsements. The licensure programs have a strong field experience component and the college is accredited through CAEP. The College has a Master of Arts in Education with emphasis areas in curriculum and teaching, technology, educational administration, reading, children’s literature, human resource development, and science education. The college offers an online Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program.
