Miami University — Visiting Assistant Professor of World History

Visiting Assistant Professor of World History for the 2018 – 2019 academic year.  One-year term appointment renewable for up to five years depending on performance and funding. Miami University Regionals (MUR) are open admissions campuses with a liberal arts curriculum. We offer associate and bachelor’s degrees as well as pathways to degree programs at Miami University’s Oxford campus.

Primary responsibility will be teaching both halves of the World History survey with possibility of courses in the candidate’s field of specialization. The position will be based on the Middletown Campus and may be asked to teach on any of the nearby regional campuses.

Require:  Doctorate in History required by time of appointment (August 2018).  Position is not eligible for H1B sponsorship.  Desire:  Non-US specialization and online teaching experience preferred.
