Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Technology Skills
  • Associates Degree or documented training related to primary teaching area and Bachelor’s degree in technical, education or related field; highest relevant degree or certification up to and including a Master’s degree in related field with evidence of completion will be required for granting of Tenure.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and certifications or the ability to certify in GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, and Fuel gas welding techniques.
  • Demonstrated currency at a professional or technical level.

Additional Experiences Considered

  • Teaching or training experience in related field.
  • Curriculum and/or course development experience.
  • Substantive multicultural experience (for example; urban  community service, academic course work in minority or foreign language studies, or teaching experience with minority students).
  • Ability to teach in a variety of formats, including on-line.
