University of Pennsylvania — Research Assistant Professor, Neurosurgery

The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of neuroscience with a focus on neural engineering. Responsibilities include establishing an externally-funded research program utilizing systems and computational neuroscience techniques to develop innovative brain-machine interfaces and neuromodulation therapies in support of the Department’s Translational Neuromodulation program. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
