Miami University — Human Resources Information Systems Analyst

Job Summary:  Job ID: 5128 – PT – Unclassified (salaried)

This position will evaluate, analyze, design and maintain Miami University’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This includes Identifying new HR needs and the software products to fulfill these needs, making alterations to existing programs to gather and report data as necessary, and analyzing and providing information on employee demographics, trends, and projections to senior management at Miami University.

This position will also lead and execute high-level project management and provide expertise and guidance related to both small and large scale technical and operational initiatives to advance HR and FBS IT strategic goals.  Projects could include, but not be limited to, system implementations, upgrades, integrations, process and operational redesigns, and development and implementation of systems/applications.   Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree and at least five (5) years of directly related experience.  Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.  Strong Leadership Skills and project management experience.  Experience with software vendor implementation, business process improvement, data analysis and recommendations.
