Todd McCallum, an associate professor in the department of psychological sciences at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, died on December 5 after a year-long illness.
McCallum joined the faculty at Case Western Reserve University in 2002 and was promoted to associate professor in 2007. His research was focused mainly on older individuals and their families and how they dealt with end-of-life care.
Dr. McCallum was a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he majored in psychology. He held a master’s degree in developmental psychology from Columbia University in New York City and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
