Gwynedd Mercy University — Assistant Professor, Criminal Justice

The School of Arts and Sciences at Gwynedd Mercy University invites applications for a fulltime faculty member for the Criminal Justice Program to begin August 2018.

A Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or Criminology is preferred; however, a minimum of a master’s degree in Criminal Justice or Criminology will be considered. A J.D. (law degree) is not acceptable for this position. Although many areas of specialization would be suitable, candidates with expertise in crime mapping, criminal profiling, or corrections are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have higher education teaching experience and demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, advising and mentoring of students, research, and continued and sustainable growth of the program.
