Position Purpose
Oversee the development and management of media instruction, production, equipment, technology, studios and labs in support of the academic mission and goals of The Evergreen State College. Provide strategic direction, planning, management and supervision for Media Services staff. Oversee operations in support of media instruction and media production within the Academic Division and in support of other divisions of the college. Collaborate with Computing and Communications to support college-wide technology planning and implementation. In a leadership role, promote efficiency of operations and resources and support the adoption of appropriate media technology aligned with the academic mission, including teaching media literacy across disciplines. Assure that media technology serves teaching and learning. May offer direct support to instructional workshops and/or media productions as needed.

This is a fulltime, overtime-exempt position on the Olympia Campus of The Evergreen State College. This is an “at-will” appointment, exempt from Washington State Civil Service rules and the Fair Labor Standards Act overtime requirements.

Salary and Benefits: $5,762 – $6,627 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
