Job Description:  The University of South Carolina Upstate Division of Mathematics and Computer Science is accepting applications for two non-tenure track Instructor of Computer Science positions, with a start date of August 16, 2018. Duties will include teaching undergraduate courses in computer science, advising students, and participating in internal and external service activities. Faculty positions to teach on the Spartanburg and/or Greenville campus.

Required Qualifications:  Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate work in Computer Science required by August 15, 2018. The teaching load is 4/4 for Computer Science. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and relevant teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:  Master’s degree in Computer Science with coursework in one or more of the following areas: Computer Organization and Architecture, Robotics, E-Business and Web Application Development.
