Job Description: The School of Education seeks a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant Professor level. The person in this position will serve as a leader for Elementary Education, serving as the program coordinator, and teaching a variety of undergraduate courses in the Elementary Education program. The teaching load is 4/4 with a one course release per semester for serving as Elementary Education Program Coordinator. Summer teaching opportunities may also be available. Success in the tenure-track entails effectiveness in teaching, scholarship, and service.

The successful candidate will be a leader in Elementary Education or a related field. In conjunction with the Associate Dean, the program coordinator schedules program courses, staffs courses, conducts program meetings, and leads program curriculum development. The program coordinator assures that the program meets and maintains CAEP and Elementary SPA accreditation standards. The program coordinator facilitates strong, reciprocal collaborations with local elementary schools.

Faculty positions to teach on the Spartanburg and/or Greenville campus.
