Position Description: The Department of Fine Arts and Communication Studies seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor with a background in Digital Media to teach in the Communication degree program. Faculty positions to teach on the Spartanburg and/or Greenville campus.

Required Qualifications:  Ph.D. in Media Studies, Communication or a related field or an MFA with specialization and professional experience in digital media. ABD candidates with planned completion dates before August 15, 2018 may also be considered. A demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning and evidence of excellence in teaching is required.

Preferred Qualifications:  Professional non-academic experience in journalism, public relations, or marketing with a focus on digital media production. Professional and teaching experience with Adobe Suite.
