University of Pennsylvania — Assistant Professor, Tenure Track, Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Pharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine invites applications for full-time tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level.

We are seeking candidates with strong academic accomplishments in cellular/molecular biology and immunology, to complement our departmental research strengths. The department interests include head and neck cancer metabolism and immunotherapy, stem cell biology related to immunology, cell-based disease modeling and therapy, and tissue regeneration and repair. A strong track record of extramural grant funding, as well as an interest in teaching basic sciences to dental students, are encouraged.

Applicants with a PhD or dual degree equivalent (DMD/DDS-PhD, MD-PhD, DVM-PhD) are invited to submit a statement of research and teaching interests, curriculum vitae, and names with contact information for three references.
