Develops and implements support for conditionally admitted and at-risk students; develops, teaches and coordinates academic support and enhancement courses; recruits and trains instructors; coordinates the success coaching program in collaboration with the Office of Student Success and Retention; recruits, selects, trains, and supervises success coaches; collaborates with colleges, academic departments and the Office of Academic Advising in identifying first-year only (FYO) and transfer-only courses; assists with the development, implementation and sustainability of innovative cross-divisional programs that align with student needs and university priorities; and assists with Undergraduate Studies’ strategic planning and related initiatives. Master’s degree in student affairs or related field required. At least five years of professional experience in higher education academic support and supervisory experience required. Experience teaching first year courses preferred. Criminal and other relevant background checks required.
