Associate Director, Employer & Experiential Development

Position Number: FAB160

Responsibilities include building relationships and creating awareness among corporate and community organizations with regard to the benefits of recruiting and hiring VCU students; identify existing and new opportunities for undergraduates to engage in Relevant Experiential and Applied Learning (REAL); creating opportunities for employer and alumni involvement on campus; collaborating with campus offices (e.g. development, alumni relations, business and engineering school career centers); facilitating on campus interviewing. This role also provides leadership for the maintenance of the university wide career management system database.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or MBA required in student affairs, human resource management, business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in college recruiting or career services in a higher education setting or related area.
