University of Pennsylvania — Clinician Educator for Medical Oncology/Gynecologic Malignancies

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant or Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Oncology is required.

We are seeking individuals who have a track record in clinical research and clinical care in the area of gynecologic malignancies. Successful candidates will have clinical, clinical research, teaching, and leadership responsibilities. Physicians will be a member of the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania. Scholarship is required in the clinician educator track.

Applicants should have an interest in the area of medical oncology with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic malignancies; will treat patients with cancers of the female reproductive system. Applicants must have clinical experience and a track record in clinical care and clinical research in this area. Additional responsibilities include the oversight and expansion of the clinical research portfolio related to GYN ONC and help to expand clinical research for patients with BRCA1 and BRCA2 associated ovarian cancer in collaborations with the Basser Center. The clinician educator candidates will teach medical students, house staff and fellows.
