The Director of Research and Prospect Management will be responsible for directing the identification of the highest net-worth donor prospects for the College and assessing the wealth of individuals in the target population. The incumbent will develop best practices for assessing wealth, generate new approaches to uncovering difficult to find or difficult to determine information, and create new guidelines as needed for the analysis of data on donor prospects for the College. This position reports to the Director, Special Campaigns

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree and advanced experience in research and date analysis are required; experience in a college setting or with Development work and an advanced degree preferred.

Also required are prior experience extracting and interviewing information from complex databases; strong computer skills and facility with learning new software and databases; superior written and oral communication skills, particularly concerning highly technical concepts; demonstrated project management ability, excellent organization and problem-solving skills with the ability to initiate and apply creative solutions and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in order to complete work on time with minimal supervision; professionalism, maturity, and an ability to work with and maintain strict confidentiality of privileged information.
