Oakland University — Assistant Professor of Operations Management

The School of Business Administration at Oakland University is inviting applications for an Assistant Professor position to teach introductory and advanced undergraduate and graduate level courses in Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. The faculty member would also be expected to develop and maintain a high quality of research and service activities appropriate to the position beginning August 15, 2018. Candidates with a background in one or more of the following areas (purchasing and global sourcing, service management, operations analytics) are especially encouraged to apply. Evidence of successful interactions with the business community is also desirable. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management or related field from an accredited AACSB International or equivalent accredited institution. Applicants with ABD status will also be considered if they will complete degree requirements by August 15, 2018.
