Kent State University — Vice President for Information Services and Chief Information Officer

Kent State University seeks a strategic, service-focused, and high-energy information and technology leader as the Vice President for Information Services (IS) and Chief Information Officer (CIO). The CIO will be a member of the President’s Cabinet and work closely with the Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration/CFO and the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs/Provost.

For this executive position, the university seeks an extraordinary leader with demonstrated successes leading information technology in large, complex organizations; the ability to lead change through a collaborative and solution-oriented approach; and the ability to be a strategic partner committed to the university’s mission of teaching/learning, research, community and global service and engagement.

The CIO will be a thought leader on the use of technology and data to achieve the vision and priorities of the university’s six-year plan, A Strategic Roadmap to a Distinctive Kent State, as well as a strong operational manager for centrally provided technology services.
