Cabrini University — Assistant or Associate Professor of Education

Cabrini University, located in suburban Philadelphia, seeks a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Education, commensurate with experience, to teach in EdD in Educational Leadership Program. The successful candidate will teach in the new degree program housed in the Educational Policy and Leadership department. This position is a 9-month tenure-track appointment beginning January 2018.

Responsibilities: Serve on and chair dissertation committees; teach in the EdD in Educational Leadership and the master of education programs; develop and teach online courses; provide service to the University; and, develop a scholarly agenda as described in the Faculty Handbook (http://www.cabrini.edu/Academics/Faculty/Faculty-Handbook).

Required qualifications include an earned doctorate in Educational Leadership or a closely related area; expertise in quantitative methodology; experience in a in doctoral program teaching and course development; experience as a faculty member in higher education; experience developing and teaching online and/or hybrid courses; a successful scholarship and research agenda; and, a commitment to the Mission and Core Values of Cabrini University. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in higher education leadership or theoretical foundations of leadership.
