The Department of History at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro currently is seeking candidates for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Colonial America through the American Revolution, starting in August 2018. Area of specialization is open, willingness to work with graduate students at the M.A. and Ph.D. levels and demonstrated ability to teach both beginning and advanced undergraduate and graduate courses is required. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research agenda and provide service to the department, campus, and larger professional community. Applicants must hold or anticipate receiving the Ph.D. in History by August 1, 2018.
