African American Quadruplets Enroll at Yale University

Zach, Aaron, Nick, and Nigel Wade are quadruplets from Liberty Township, Ohio. The African American brothers applied to and were accepted at many of the nation’s leading universities. All four decided to stick together and are four of the 1,550 entering students in the Class of 2021 at Yale University.

Their parents met while students at Jackson State University in Mississippi. Their father is a software engineer and their mother is a high school principal. The financial aid package offered by Yale was a major factor in the brothers’ decision to attend the university. This is the second time that Yale has accepted a group of African American quadruplets.

The four brothers live in different residence halls and each has a different major. Zach plans to major in chemical engineering. Aaron has chosen to pursue a degree in artificial intelligence. Nick will major in international relations and Nigel plans to earn a degree in neuroscience.
