Norfolk State University Unveils a New Logo and Marketing Slogan

Norfolk State University, the historically Black educational institution in Virginia, has unveiled a new logo and marketing campaign that uses the tagline “We see the future in you.”

The university also released a brand position statement that said, “Norfolk State University has transformed the lives of generations of students and alumni who have gone on to rewarding lives and careers, often exceeding their own expectations. They credit their success to the opportunities they began to see for themselves, and prepare for, at Norfolk State.”

Eddie M. Moore, president of Norfolk State University, stated that “the new brand embodies Norfolk State’s history, our nurturing environment, spirit and boldly embraces a bright future. This brand truly represents a new direction for Norfolk State University, and symbolizes the spirit of who and what Norfolk State is – an outstanding university that has transformed the lives of generations of students and alumni.”
