Oakland University — Assistant Professor of Management

The School of Business Administration at Oakland University is recruiting a faculty member to teach strategic management courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels beginning in the 2018 -2019 academic year. This position is a full-time tenure track position. The candidate’s primary teaching will be focused in the area of strategic management for undergraduate and MBA students over fall and winter semesters at Oakland University and branch campuses. We are particularly interested in individuals who can teach strategy and international business OR corporate sustainability.

The School of Business Administration is AACSB-accredited. It has 2,000 undergraduate and 550 master’s students. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must either possess a Ph.D. in strategic management or international strategy or be a Ph.D. candidate with an anticipated graduation date no later than August 2018, from an accredited AACSB International school
  • Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in strategic management.
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness through evaluations
  • Evidence of achievement in scholarship such as presentations at scholarly conferences and/or journal publications
