The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia — Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the tenure track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Neurosurgery with a focus on spasticity surgery, functional neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery and stereo EEG placement. Responsibilities include an academic focus in seizure disorders as evidenced by targeted publications, presentations and potentially research funding or awards. The effective date of appointment will be 1/1/2018. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Applicants must have completed a full year of a Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowship in an approved program and be Board Certified or Eligible in Neurosurgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery.
