The Curtis Institute of Music pairs tradition and innovation, educating exceptionally gifted young musicians who engage a local and global community through music-making of the highest caliber.  Curtis Institute, the world’s premier music conservatory invites nominations and applications for the position of Director of Information Technology.

The Director of IT will lead the development and implementation of a strategic plan focused around four pillars of technology – web, mobile, social, and immersive – to deliver cutting-edge performances and educational content globally.

The Director will lead the development and implementation of a Technology Master Plan that supports the College’s strategic direction, including the restructuring of Curtis’s data architecture and the implementation of a comprehensive CRM solution.

Most importantly, the Director will oversee Curtis’s data ecosystem, and will be responsible for end-to-end data strategy, which spans from big data collection to data integration, repository, and utilization.

Requirements include 10 years professional experience, 5-7 years demonstrable, progressively responsible experience as a tech leader.  Structured Query Language and .Net Framework required; knowledge of development best practices and methodologies (AGILE, SCRUM).  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
